Speaking from a [img]graemlins/beer.gif[/img] drinkers perspective, it really is kinda [img]cool.gif[/img] to see all those people having a good time down there without any alcohol available (at least not down on the wall or at sawyer point)

What about everyone else? Do anything special?

I actually got up on the bar at one place we went to. Had to, the DJ called me up because it was my birthday. Then, a very nice barmaid pour some kind of liquor into my mouth. [img]graemlins/martini.gif[/img] I don't remember much after that. [img]graemlins/sleepy.gif[/img]

Got my drink on, by drinking way to fucking much. Played a little Texas Hold'em and Cornhole.

I played in a softball tournament in Columbus. Played 5 games on Saturday - the last three games were back to back to back during the peak summer heat. If we won the last game we would have played a fourth game in a row.

All of us pretended we were sad when we lost the last game.

Played one game on Sunday and got hammered by the team that won the annex division. Then I sat around and watched other teams play most of the rest of the day.

Sunday I worked in the yard and spent a few hours on my attic project.

I spent most of the weekend sitting in my livingroom with the radio on. You know what it sounds like when you are sitting in your car in a car wash with all the jets and brushes scrubbing your car? That's what it sounded like for about 4 hrs solid on Sunday.

Then finally I decided there was nothing I could accomplish by sitting and listening to the radio so I went to sleep. I always wondered if I could sleep through a hurricane (because I can sleep through most anything if I'm tired enough) and now the mystery is solved. When I got up about 2 hrs later the street was covered in branches and leaves and a dead calm had settled for awhile. And then another wave hit. It kept doing that most of Sunday night and all day Monday. It pulsated too, not a steady strong wind but you could tell it was going in a circular pattern. Several times it sounded like a huge finger was being drawn across my car port and the wood for the lattice work (for the climbing flowering vines) was creaking like it was ready to snap. But it didn't.

Oh yeah, I got 3 of 6 numbers on the lotto Saturday night again. Last week I got 4 of 6 on the lotto and 3 of 4 on the mega money. I won like $120 between the two. Since last November I have gotten 4 of 6 numbers on the lotto 3x and win enough on Fantasy Five most every week to pay for all my tickets combined. Just gotta get all the numbers on the same line the same drawing LOL.
I never won that much on the lottery games back in Ohio.

We went to the Renaissance Festival (it was kids get in free weekend). I got a mug, son1 got a wooden sword, son2 got a copper rose, we had turkey legges and lots of diet Pepsi (good in the hot weather, but anachronistic). The shows were fun; there was an interesting rendition of Beowulf in a mud pit, and a comedy juggler that was very entertaining. It was good.
